Members of the Green Roof Infrastructure Network (GRIN) form a community of like-minded professionals, citizens and organizations working together to increase the awareness of the economic, social, and environmental benefits of green roofs and green infrastructure. Membership will link you with a network of excellent human beings committed to action, regenerative design, and a living planet.
You should consider registering for Membership with GRIN if you:
Want to stay up-to-date about emerging developments for green roofs and green infrastructure in BC,
Wish to support the local movement and industry
Dream about healthy cities that are regenerative and gentle on water, energy, biodiversity, and quality of life
Want the opportunity to actively participate on GRIN’s various committees and help shape the future of the industry.
GRIN offers three types of membership:
- Extensive $20 / year
Like the lightweight systems that create extensive cover and function remarkably well, the dues paid by Extensive Members support GRIN’s capacity (e.g., website; outreach and education; cultivate Green Roof Champions).
- Semi-Intensive $75 / year
Like the versatile and dynamic systems whose design are adapted to the loading capacities at different points of the building structure, the dues paid by Semi-Intensive Members support GRIN’s program development (e.g., communicate/ interpret/ consolidate/ develop technical, scientific and pragmatic literature on the planning, design and maintenance of green roofs and green infrastructure)
- Intensive $150 / year
Like the roof gardens that can include trees, benches, swimming pools, race tracks and whatever the building will allow, the dues paid by Intensive Members support GRIN’s relationship building across the province and its inclusion at decision-making tables at local, regional and provincial jurisdictions (e.g., advising municipal, provincial and federal gov’ts on supportive policies, laws, best practices, guidelines for on GR and GI in BC).
Extensive
