Treasurer

Are you an accountant, book-keeper, lover of financial order, and passionate about a living biosphere and healthy society? Do you want to support the growth and efficacy of the Green Roof Infrastructure Network? GRIN is seeking a Treasurer!

Description

The Green Roof Infrastructure Network of BC (GRIN) is an interdisciplinary, nonprofit network of green roof champions united to advance the widespread implementation of green roofs and stormwater infrastructure in BC. GRIN strives to bring together leading thinkers from policy-making, non-profit, academic, industry, and community organizations.

As a new organization, we are looking for a treasurer who enjoys learning, working with others, and is inspired to help transform GRIN’s potential into potency. The Treasurer will sit on the Board of Directors and work closely with the Executive Director and support fundraising initiatives.

The treasurer should:

  • Ideally be a CPA, or have a similar financial background
  • Be interested in green roofs and green infrastructure
  • Be able to commit 4-6 hours per month, including a bi-monthly board meeting
  • Have experience with non-profit accounting (not essential)

The Treasurer would begin in January 2025, including a handover period from our retiring Treasurer.

If you are interested, please send us your CV and a cover letter.
