On May 22-23, GRIN is pleased to co-host two days of Grey to Green at Creekside Community Centre (Vancouver Olympic Village) with Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. From getting up-to-date on current projects and leading edge practices and understanding, to the networking and socializing, it’ll be a great time. Come along for everything, or whatever you can make (even just the happy hour on Friday!).

Thurs. May 22: Green Roof Professional training

On Thursday May 22, we will deliver the Green Roof Professional (GRP) Training (in-person for the first time since covid!). This unique accreditation provides an individual with everything there is to know about green roof design, project management, installation and maintenance, and a successful GRP stamp affirms this. This full-day training is designed for professionals seeking to build hands-on expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of green roofs. Fri. May 23: Grey to Green Conference

On Friday May 23, 2025, industry professionals in green infrastructure will gather at Creekside Community Centre for full-day event focused on advancing green infrastructure and climate resilience in the region. (Note that GRIN supporters will receive a discount on registration. All you need to do is join our mailing list and then let us know you wish to attend!)

The day will feature expert presentations, panel discussions, and case studies on topics ranging from stormwater management and urban biodiversity, to the integration of solar and vegetated roofing systems. The conference is a key gathering for landscape architects, engineers, policy makers, students, and other industry professionals interested in the future of nature-based solutions in cities. It has been submitted for 6 CEUs with AIA, ASLA, ALPD, and is approved for GRP and GRIMP CEUs.
