Our aim is to advance interest and understanding of green roofs and other nature-based solutions, and to promote best practices and build capacity on their design, installation, and maintenance. GRIN’s educational content is designed to reach a range of audiences, including professionals, DIY champions, policy makers, as well as children and youth.
GRIN is pleased to provide professional training and accreditations relating to green roofs, living walls, and green infrastructure. We offer certificates of completion, and continuing education credits.
GRIN’s goal is to raise educational and practical literacy about green roofs and green infrastructure in BC, such that everyone has the opportunity to understand the role these multi-functional investments provide to our communities.
GRIN provides complementary programs for BC curriculum relevant to green roofs and living walls, including BC School Board schools and Conseil Scolaire Francophone.
